Our school uniform
Plattsburg Public School has a uniform policy which was formulated in consultation with the P&C Association. As a result of this consultation, there is strong across the board support for the wearing of the school uniform. We believe it encourages the students to feel part of the school community. The uniform design allows students to be as comfortable as possible to enable them to participate fully in the schools many daily activities.
Boys
- Maroon polo shirt with maroon shorts, white socks, black shoes/sneakers.
- Maroon track suit, maroon polo shirt, white socks, black shoes/sneakers.
- A Maroon zipper jacket may be worn with any of the above.
Girls
- Maroon skorts, maroon polo shirts, white socks, black shoes/sneakers.
- Maroon shorts, maroon polo shirt, white socks, black shoes/sneakers.
- Maroon track suit, maroon polo shirt, white socks, black shoes/sneakers.
- A Maroon zipper jacket may be worn with any of the above.
School Hats
As part of our Sun Smart policy children are required to wear a hat. Hats must have a brim. Caps can be worn. Hats must be worn at all times when children are outside. Children without hats have to remain in the shade. School hats and caps are available for sale from the canteen.
Clothing Pool
The school has a good clothing pool. The clothing pool operates once a week and all items of clothing sell for $2.00. Please consider giving any clean clothes, which are still in reasonable condition, to the pool.

Drop your old school uniforms into our friendly office staff. The clothing pool is open every Tuesday morning from 8:30am until 9am.
